(Portland, OR) -- School district officials are warning parents about a man who approached a young girl in the Woodstock neighborhood. Officials with Portland Public Schools say the Woodstock Elementary School student was approached in the area of Southeast 48th Avenue and Ramona Street on Sunday afternoon. Officials say the man drove up to the girl in a white or silver van and asked her to grab a newspaper for him. He then allegedly took off when a resident stepped out of their home. He's described as tan with a medium build and salt-and-pepper hair.
