Police Identify Officers In Deadly Shooting Of Man

(Portland, OR)  --  Police are releasing the identities of the seven officers and one deputy who shot and killed a man inside a homeless shelter in Southeast Portland.  The Portland Police Bureau identifies them as Officers Richard Bailey, Justin Damerville, Kameron Fender, Alexandru Martiniuc, Bradley Nutting, Chad Phifer and Andrew Polas, along with Deputy Aaron Sieczkowski.  The officers are all from the Portland Police Bureau, while the deputy is with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.  Police say they shot and killed John Elifritz, AKA "John-John," Saturday night inside Cityteam Ministries Portland Shelter on Grand Avenue.  Police say the officers believed Elifritz to be a suspect in a carjacking earlier in the day and he refused orders to drop his knife.
