(Portland, OR) -- A man is facing charges after allegedly driving into a crowd of protesters in southwest Portland. The demonstrators were protesting the Grand Jury ruling that found officers were justified in shooting and killing 27-year-old Patrick Kimmons yesterday when the incident happened. Police say 55-year-old Mark Dickerson drove his pickup truck into the crowd of protesters, striking at least one person. That person did not require hospitalization. Dickerson is facing charges of fourth-degree assault as well as reckless endangerment and reckless driving.
