Voters Reject Measure Banning State Funding For Abortion

(Portland, OR)  --  Oregon voters appear to be rejecting a measure to ban state funding for abortions.  Early results show Measure 106 failing with only 36-percent of the vote.  Sixty-four-percent voted against the measure, which would have put a state constitutional ban on the use of public funds to pay for abortions.
