OR Labor Commissioner Recuses Self From Harassment Probe

(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon's labor commissioner is recusing herself from the state investigation into harassment.  Val Hoyle is leaving decisions on the findings of the probe into sexual harassment at the state capitol to her deputy, Duke Shepard.  The Oregonian reports that Hoyle said yesterday the investigation was prompted by a civil rights complaint filed by her predecessor.  Her statement said that the recusal stems from the commission's protocol on such matters.
