(Portland, OR)  --  A domestic violence suspect is in police custody following an hours-long standoff at a home in southeast Portland.  Police responded to the home on Southeast Bush Street yesterday morning on reports that a suicidal man with a gun was holding a woman and several children inside hostage.  Police called crisis negotiators to the scene and were able to take Edgar Gutierrez into custody just after 4:00 a.m.  He was booked into Multnomah County Jail on charges of menacing, unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a firearm.
