(Vancouver, WA)  --  One person is dead after being hit by a car while walking in Vancouver.  Police say the pedestrian was walking near Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard and Chkalov Drive last night when a vehicle struck them.  The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital, where they died.  Police say the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
