(Albany, OR)  --  All Greater Albany Public Schools will remain closed for the rest of the week due to a rash of illnesses.  District Superintendent Melissa Goff says yesterday's attendance records showed a spike in absences for both students and staff due to illnesses.  The district had already closed Periwinkle Elementary School yesterday after a jump in illness-related absences on Friday.
