(Portland, OR)  --  A 70-year-old Multnomah County man is the first person to die from the novel coronavirus in Oregon.  The Oregon Health Authority says the man died Saturday at the Portland Veterans' Affairs Medical Center after testing positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.  Health officials say the man had underlying health conditions that made it more difficult for his body to fight off the virus.
