Man Shot By Police In Vancouver Dies From Injuries

(Vancouver, WA)  --  Police say a man who was shot by police in Vancouver has died from his injuries.  The Vancouver Police Department says the shooting happened Tuesday morning after officers responded to Fourth Plain Boulevard and Stapleton on a report of two men fighting.  When officers arrived, they found one man on the ground and another man armed with sharp objects.  A witness says officers tried to use a taser on the suspect, but he was wearing a leather coat and it had no effect.  Police say three officers opened fire on the man after he refused to drop the weapons.
