(Salem, OR)  --  Several state parks and recreation areas are reopening today.  Governor Kate Brown announced yesterday that seven parks will reopen today, with more parks set to open next week.  Among the parks reopening today are Tryon Creek in Portland, Willamette Mission near Keizer and the State Capitol State Park in Salem.  Brown says camping opportunities will become available as federal, state and local parks open. Ski resorts will also be able to resume operations soon when the governor issues a new order.
