(Portland, OR)  --  Work gets underway next week in Portland's new mural district.  The Portland Street Art Alliance says painting will begin next Monday on five murals under the Hawthorne and Morrison bridge viaducts in the city's central eastside.  It's part of the Viaducts Arts Mural Initiative announced last year.  The Portland Street Art Alliance says it received nearly 200 applications from artists statewide.
