Five Families Join Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Portland Nursing Facility

(Portland, OR)  --  Nearly half a dozen more families are suing a Portland nursing facility after their loved ones died from coronavirus there.  Five families of residents who died at Healthcare at Foster Creek joined a wrongful death lawsuit yesterday accusing the facility of elder abuse and negligence.  The Oregon Department of Human Services suspended the facility's license after an outbreak there infected 117 people and killed 28 more.  The family of 75-year-old Judith Jones filed the initial lawsuit last month.  The lawsuit is seeking a combined ten-point-eight-million dollars.
