Oregon City Mayor Facing Recall Campaign

(Oregon City, OR)  --  Oregon City Mayor Dan Holladay is facing a recall campaign for comments he made on social media downplaying police violence against African Americans.  Critics formed a formal recall committee yesterday and filed the paperwork to launch their campaign.  The committee also sent a letter to city commissioners signed by former Oregon City mayors Alice Norris and Doug Neeley, who called Holladay's behavior "disturbing."  If approved, the committee would have just under 90 days to get more than two-thousand signatures.
