SE Portland Shooting Strikes Car Carrying Mom, Four Kids

(Portland, OR)  --  An investigation is ongoing in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood after someone fired 25 shots, striking a vehicle carrying a mother and her four young children.  The Portland Police Bureau says the shooting happened Wednesday night in the 13400 block of Southeast Harold Street.  Police say one of the bullets missed the mother's head by mere inches.  The shooting also shattered the vehicle's window, injuring a ten-year-old girl in the car near her eye.  Police are still searching for suspects.
