(Portland, OR) -- Oregon is dealing with a record-breaking number of new coronavirus cases. The Oregon Health Authority reported nearly 400 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday along with six new deaths. The new case numbers broke Oregon's previous record for single-day increases of 375 set a week ago. Officials say community gatherings and workplace outbreaks are contributing to the rising numbers. Oregon has now had a total of eleven-thousand-188 cases of COVID-19 and 230 deaths since the pandemic began.
