(Portland, OR)  --  President Trump is demanding that local officials call in the National Guard to police ongoing protests in Portland he says are "out of control."  Trump took to Twitter yesterday saying Mayor Ted Wheeler and Governor Kate Brown "are putting people's lives at risk."  He added that they "will be held responsible."  Trump stated that the Guard is ready to act immediately to secure the Courthouse.  Trump continues to clash with Portland officials amid their response to over two straight months of protests sparked by the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
