New COVID-19 Cases Decline In Oregon

(Portland, OR)  --  Health officials are reporting a slight decline in new COVID-19 cases in Oregon.  The Oregon Health Authority says the number of new cases declined four-percent over the last week.  The rate of positive tests in the state is now six-point-five-percent.  Officials want that number to be below five-percent.  Yesterday, the Oregon Health Authority confirmed 331 new cases of COVID-19 and two new deaths, raising the state's death toll from the pandemic to 635.  Oregon has now seen a total of 40-thousand-443 cases since the pandemic began.
