(Portland, OR) -- Police have released the name of a person who was killed in a crash New Year's Day morning in Portland. It happened just after 7 a.m. It was a single vehicle crash where a car hit a utility pole at Southeast 112th and Division. Police say 19-year-old Daniel Martinez was killed in the crash. A second person remains hospitalized, and a third person was treated at the scene and released. Police say Martinez was speeding when the crash happened.
