Six Drivers Get Unexpected COVID-19 Vaccine Thanks To Traffic Jam

(Portland, OR) -- Unsuspecting drivers in southern Oregon got the COVID-19 vaccine this week thanks to a major traffic jam. Members of the Josephine County Health Department were leaving a clinic to administer the vaccine when they got stuck in a traffic jam caused by snow. The health department workers had some vaccine that was about to expire, so they got out of their vehicle and started going car to car to offer the vaccine to anyone who wanted it so that it wouldn't go to waste. A total of six people got the vaccine.
