(Vancouver, WA) -- Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital went into lockdown Friday night after armed family members of a patient tried to force their release from the facility. The Clark County Sheriff's Office says the patient wanted to stay at the hospital for treatment. Police say the patient's family and several supporters were open-carrying guns and carrying gas masks outside the hospital and tried to force their way in, only to be pushed back by deputies. One person was pepper-sprayed. No one was arrested. Several hours later, the patient reportedly asked to be discharged and was taken home by the family.
