(Portland, OR) -- Highway 99W was closed in both directions for several hours last night following a natural gas pipeline break. The Oregon Department of Transportation says the break happened before 5:30 p.m., when multiple cars crashed and damaged the pipeline near milepost 20 between Newberg and Sherwood. No word yet on what caused the crash.
