In Clark County Court, Bethany Storro, 28, apologized for lying about the attack and said she hopes for the community's forgiveness. Her plea deal keeps her out of prison. Instead, she'll complete an 18-month diversion program, 240 hours of community service and pay back just under $4,000 in overtime by the Vancouver Police Department. Prosecutors say Storro must also comply with the terms of a mental health program and pay restitution for all money taken before she changed her plea to guilty.
