(Forest Grove, OR)  --  A former Hillsboro police officer will spend ten years behind bars for shooting at officers and threatening his wife.  In a deal with prosecutors, Timothy Cannon pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated animal abuse and three counts of attempted murder in connection with a January 2013 domestic-abuse incident at the couple's Hillsboro home.  Authorities say Cannon pinned his wife twice and fired shots at police officers who responded to the 9-1-1 call she made after she was able to break free.
