(Issaquah, WA)  --  Thousands of cases of dried fruit slices are being recalled by Costco after the product's manufacturer warned they could be contaminated with salmonella.  The manufacturer, Oregon Freeze Dry, issued a voluntary recall of 60-thousand cases of Kirkland Signature Real Sliced Fruit, which are marked with a February 14th, 2015 to March 11th, 2015 "best by" date.  The FDA says no confirmed cases of salmonella have been reported in association with the product.  Costco says Kirkland Signature Real Slice Fruit currently on its shelves is safe to eat.
