(San Diego, CA)  --  The Seattle Mariners will continue their road trip in Kansas City today after splitting a four-game series with San Diego.  The Padres won yesterday, 4-1, after the Seattle bullpen faltered.  Erasmo Ramirez pitched six shutout innings and allowed only two hits, but reliever Dominic Leone gave up four runs in the seventh.  The Mariners and Royals will get under way this afternoon at 5:10.
