(Flushing, NY)  --  A deal that would have sent Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez to the Mets is off.  FOX Sports reports the Mets backed out of the deal because of a hip issue in Gomez's medical report.  Milwaukee would have acquired infielder Wilmer Flores, who teared up on the field after learning of the potential deal during the Mets' game against the Padres last night.
