(Portland, OR)  --  The Blazers have cut ties with center Brendan Haywood four days after acquiring him from Cleveland.  The Cavs traded Haywood to save money, and Portland was never expected to keep him.  The Blazers are also likely to reach a buyout with forward Mike Miller, who was acquired in the same trade.  The 35-year-old Haywood played in 22 games for the Cavs last season, averaging just five minutes per game.
