(Corvallis, OR)  --  Oregon State's second-half rally fell short as they lost to Stanford, 78-72, at Gill Coliseum.  The Beavers got 22 points, nine rebounds and six assists from Gary Payton the Second.  Oregon State is 10-and-3 overall and 1-and-1 in the Pac 12.  They host Cal on Saturday.
