Oregon introduces new Football Coach

The Oregon Ducks introduced their head football coach Willie Taggart yesterday morning in Eugene.  Taggart becomes the school’s 31st head coach leaving South Florida after 4-seasons.

Taggart, 40, compiled a 24-and-25 record in Tampa Bay, but this year his team was 10-2 and will play South Carolina in the Birmingham Bowl. No word if he will coach the team in the Bowl game. It’s reported Taggart will make $16-million over 5 years. And, no word yet on the remaining Oregon coaching staff.

The Ducks kickoff the Taggart era September 2nd hosting Southern Utah, the week-2 Oregon entertains the Nebraska Cornhuskers. For Duck schedules, ticket and more information on the new Coach..visit, Go Ducks dot Com.
