Evidence Suppression Allowed In Ridgewell's DUI Case

(Lake Oswego, OR)  --  A Lake Oswego Municipal Court judge is granting a motion to suppress evidence against Timbers captain Liam Ridgewell.  The motion relates to his October arrest on suspicion of drunken driving.  The judge believes Ridgewell's traffic stop by police was illegal because it wasn't supported by probable cause of a violation or reasonable suspicion that the soccer player had or was going to witness a crime.
