Back to hoops…where top-rated Gonzaga saw its 29-game win streak snapped as BYU beat the Zags in Spokane Saturday, 79-71. Gonzaga heads to the Westcoast Conference Tournament in Vegas with a 29-1 record.

IN the Pac-12, Oregon takes two in the bay area beating Cal and Stanford. Meanwhile, UCLA knocks off Arizona in Tucson Saturday, 77-72, so the Ducks and Arizona are tied for the Pac-12 Lead, but Oregon holds the tiebreaker over the Wildcats. Oregon, 26-4, finishes the regular season at Oregon State Saturday at 2:30 p.m. here on KBND.


On the small college NAIA hardwood…Tuesday in Klamath Falls, Oregon Tech hosts Corban of Salem for the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship, and the winner punching their ticket to the Big, ‘Small College’ dance in Branson, Missouri next month.

In college women’s action, Oregon State three-peats as Pac-12 Champions as the Beavers beat Stanford and Cal over the weekend. OSU is ranked 10th with a 26-3 record headed to the NCAA Tourney in two weeks.
