The record making season for the #1 ranked Oregon State baseball team continues as the Beavers have now won 23 straight. Saturday, it took 16 innings for OSU to nip Utah, 5-4. Yesterday, the Beavs took a 5-1 win.

The Beavers are 28-and-1 overall and host Gonzaga in a non-league match tomorrow night, then travel for the ‘Battle in Seattle’ facing the Huskies Thursday night.

Meantime…the Ducks sweep U-C Irvine 3 games to up Oregon’s record to 21-and-8. The Ducks host the University of Portland tomorrow night, then head to Tucson Thursday to face Arizona.

The 3rd ranked Oregon softball team took a hit over the weekend suffering their first two losses of the season after starting 35-and-0. The lady Ducks salvaged a 3-game series sweep at 9th ranked UCLA by clubbing the Bruins yesterday, 11-to-4. Oregon returns home Thursday to host Washington for a 3-game series.

  • Intersection of NW Broadway Street and NW Delaware for waterline replacement project, road closures with detours clearly marked for thru traffic, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily with roads opened nightly. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area and use Bond Street and Wall Street.

 

  • Nels Anderson Road between Nels Anderson Place and Brandis Court, single northbound shoulder closure will be in effect, two-way traffic to be maintained. Project completion expected December 2017.
