#1 Beavers sweep Washington State 3-straight games beating the Cougars by a combined 23-to-6 run count. The Cougars are coached by former OSU Assistant Coach Marty Lees and have two central Oregon graduates on the team in J.D. Hair of Sisters and Cal Waterman from Summit.

Oregon State is 44-and-4 overall and will host Abilene Christian in a non-league 4-game series starting Thursday night in Corvallis to end the regular season.

Oregon ended its 6 game losing streak Friday night beating USC in L-A, and taking 2 out of 3 from the Trojans winning yesterday, 3-2. The Ducks are 28-and-23 and play a non-league game at U-C Riverside today at Noon, then Oregon closes out the year hosting UCLA Friday night.

Meantime…the 3RD ranked Oregon women’s Softball team won its 13th straight game beating Wisconsin yesterday, 9-zip to win the Eugene Regional in 3-games. The Ducks are 50-and-6 and will host Kentucky in the Supers this weekend in a best of 3-game series.

Oregon State was eliminated in two straight games in the Waco, Texas Regionals losing to James Madison and Kent State.
