(Los Angeles, CA)  --  The Los Angeles Rams will be keeping punter Johnny Hekker around beyond this season.  They've signed the 27-year-old to a two-year contract extension.  Hekker initially inked a six-year extension in 2014 and is now under contract through 2022.  ESPN reports the Oregon State product is guaranteed 10-million-dollars, the most ever for a punter.  Hekker has led the league in punting the last two seasons.  His average of 46.9 yards per punt ranks third all-time in NFL history.
