Mariners Fall To Twins

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  Mariners starter James Paxton allowed four hits and two runs over five-plus innings for a no-decision in the 4-2 loss to the Twins in Minnesota's home opener.  Rookie Daniel Vogelbach went 2-for-3 with a run-producing single and a walk in the loss.  Seattle went 2-for-17 with runners in scoring position and stranded 11 runners.  Mike Leake will start tomorrow for the M's after both teams are idle today.
