(Portland, OR)  --  A University of Portland tennis player is being thrown off the team after allegedly making violent and misogynistic comments while emceeing an awards banquet.  School officials say senior Goutham Sundaram has been removed from the tennis team roster and that additional steps could be taken to address his conduct.  Students and staff members say Sundaram made sexually explicit and misogynistic comments while emceeing the Athletic Department's Wallay Awards banquet Sunday night.  Sundaram has issued an apology to his fellow student athletes, saying he's sorry if he made anyone uncomfortable.
