The Oregon Ducks have hired a new Head Women’s Softball Coach after Mike White left Eugene for Texas after 9-seasons. Oregon signed longtime Oklahoma Assistant Coach & Pitching specialists Melyssa Lombardi who has been a part of 4 national Titles in 21 years in Norman.
The Sooners made the Women’s College World Series 12 times while Lombardi mentored and developed the pitching and catching staffs.
White reportedly signed a 5-year, $2-million dollar deal with Texas. Lombardi made nearly $200,000 thousand dollars at OU, but no contract terms have been released. She will officially be introduced as the Ducks new Coach Monday in Eugene at Jane Sanders Complex.
