(Corvallis, OR)  --  Pat Casey, who coached Oregon State to three baseball national championships, announced he is retiring.  He coached the Beavers for 24 years, including winning the College World Series in June.  The Beavers had 900 victories and six trips to the College World Series under his watch.  The 59-year-old Casey shed tears in a 30-minute retirement news conference.  Associate head coach Pat Bailey will serve as interim coach for the 2019 season.
