(Tallahassee, FL) -- Florida State is parting ways with head football coach Willie Taggart. FSU fired the second-year coach after the team lost to rival Miami 27-10 on Saturday. The Seminoles are 4-and-5 on the season and 9-and-12 overall under Taggart. The 43-year-old is owed a 17-million-dollar buyout. Longtime assistant Odell Haggins will serve as interim head coach for the rest of the season. Taggart left Oregon after one year to take the FSU job.
