OR Getting 34K Doses Of J&J COVID Vaccine

(Portland, OR) -- The new COVID-19 vaccine from Johnson & Johnson is on its way to Oregon. The Oregon Health Authority says 34-thousand doses are being shipped to the state this week. The J&J vaccine is easier to store because it doesn't require ultra-cold freezers like the Pfizer vaccine. OHA is working with local public health authorities, state retail pharmacy partners and hospital systems to administer the vaccine.
