College Football Roundup

On the college gridiron last night, 4th ranked ohio state held off Minnesota outscoring the golden gophers, 45-31.

#24 Utah outscored Weber (wee-ber) state, 40-to-17 in a game delayed for one hour because of thunder and lightning in salt lake city.

25th ranked Arizona state ran past southern utah, 41-14. 

Boise state with new head coach Andy Avalos who left the ducks staff last winter lost at central Florida, 36-31. That game was also delayed because of weather in Orlando.
And, eastern Washington in double overtime slipped by unlv, 35-33 at allegiant stadium in sin city.

Coming up today at 3pm, 10th ranked north Carolina visits Virginia tech on ESPN, followed by Michigan state playing at northwestern.

Colorado of the pac-12 hosts Northern cColorado at 6 on the pac-12 network.

Tomorrow morning here on kbnd, the Oregon Ducks kick off their season in an 11am start hosting Fresno state. 

We'll have the pregame show at 9am.

Oregon state opens at Purdue Saturday at 430 televised on Fox Sports-1.

Other games involving pac-12 teams tomorrow...at 9am Stanford visits Kansas state on f-s-1.

Tomorrow at 2, 15th ranked USC hosts San Jose state on the pac-12 network followed by Washington meeting Montana.

Saturday night on fox, UCLA welcomes #16 LSU to the Rose Bowl at 530. At 730, Cal hosts Nevada and Arizona tangles with BYU in Las Vegas at allegiant stadium televised on espn. 

The nightcap game at 8pm is Washington State hosting Utah state.

In top rated action, #1 Alabama opens facing 14th ranked Miami in Atlanta.

2nd ranked Oklahoma hosts Tulane.
And a huge showdown in Charlotte at 430 tomorrow pits #3 Clemson going against 5th ranked Georgia on ABC.
