American Steve Johnson was eliminated by 11th-seeded Jannik Sinner. On the women's side, it was a big day for the Americans as 21st-seeded Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys each advanced to Round Four. Keys survived a three-set thriller over Qiang Wang. Elina Svitolina and Emma Raducanu were the latest seeded players to be ousted from the tournament.
