His loss leaves Taylor Fritz as the final American in the field. On the women's side, top-seeded Ashleigh Barty rolled past Amanda Anisimova to continue her dominant run. Number-27 seed Danielle Collins ousted 19th-seeded Elise Mertens in three sets to move on. Collins became the third American to reach the Quarterfinals, joining Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys.
