Former Oregon Receiver Runs Third Fastest 110-Meter Hurdles

(New York, NY) -- A former Oregon receiver is making some splashes on the track. Eagles rookie receiver Devon Allen ran the third fastest 110-meter hurdles in history at the USA Track and Field New York City Grand Prix on Sunday. Allen recorded a 12.84 second finish in the race and was just four-hundredths of a second off the world record. The 27-year-old signed with the Eagles in April, but hasn't played football since 2016 when he was a receiver for the Ducks. Allen was busy competing at the past two Olympics, where he just missed making the podium in the 110-meter hurdles.
