The Bend Elks remained on tilt this weekend after being swept by the Portland Pickles. The Elks have picked up five straight losses and are six games back of the South Division lead. The Pickles are now 11-1 in the second half and have won nine straight. The Corvallis Knights have already clinched a playoff spot after they won the 1st half-division title. 

The Elks have tonight off to rest up before a six-game homestand beginning tomorrow the West Coast League’s Ridgefield Raptors visit Vince Genna Stadium for a three-game series, then the Northwest Stars come to town for three exhibition games to close the week.
