It was a busy weekend across the state for youth baseball. The Babe Ruth 18u Pacific Northwest Regional wrapped up yesterday in Klamath Falls with the host team Falcons claiming the title with an 8-4 win. Klamath won all five games at the tournament to advance to the Babe Ruth World Series in Ephrata Washington.

Elsewhere, the American Legion Baseball State Tournament continues in Roseburg today. Day 3 today sees two of the eight teams face elimination, and the nightcap features the Medford Mustangs meeting Portland Eastside with the winner guaranteed a title game spot. In the other semifinal, the host Roseburg Docs take on defending state champion Eugene.
