The 49ers say quarterback Trey Lance is in recovery after undergoing successful surgery on Monday morning. Team officials say doctors repaired a fibula fracture and ligament damage to his right ankle. Lance was injured on a running play during Sunday's home opening win over Seattle. Lance will miss the rest of the 2022 season. In other team news, rookie running back Tyrion Davis-Price suffered a high ankle sprain and is expected to miss multiple weeks, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.
