Football Weekend Matchups-Ducks, Beavs, Seahawks, 49ers

College Football:
Number 16 Oregon State kicks off against San Diego State at 12:30 tomorrow. It’s the first meeting since 2014 but this could potentially be the first of annual matchups with the Aztecs as there is speculation they may be conference opponents for the Beavers next season. OSU is heavily favored.

Number 13 Oregon has Hawai’i as the final non-conference game. Kick off in Eugene is at 5 tomorrow. It’s the first meeting for the teams since 1994. The Warriors are 1 and 2 this season. The very heavily favored Ducks are averaging 600 yards on offense in the first two games. Coverage starts at 3 here on KBND.

Number 8 Washington vs Michigan State at 2 tomorrow
Number 23 Washington State hosts Northern Colorado tomorrow at 2

NFL:
San Francisco has a big NFC West tussle with the Rams Sunday. The 49ers are favored by a touchdown. Both offenses put up a lot of points in week one but two good defenses may lower that scoring output. Kick off from Inglewood is 1:05 pm.
The Seahawks face the upstart Lions Sunday in Detroit. Seattle will be an underdog at Ford Field with the offense looking to bounce back but will have concerns on the offensive line. Kick off is at 10 am.

MLB:
The Giants had their game postponed against the Rockies due to severe weather. San Francisco moved into the third wildcard spot having the night off. They’ll play a doubleheader tomorrow. Tonight will be the first game of the four game series. First pitch is 5:40 pm.

Seattle has the third wild card spot thanks to Texas beating Toronto last night. The idle Mariners moved a game behind the Rangers and a game and a half out of first in the division behind Houston. The Ms welcome the Dodgers to T-Mobile Park for a weekend series starting tonight at 7:10 pm

Soccer:
The Portland Thorns have a huge match against OL Reign tomorrow at 7:30 pm. Portland is second in the NWSL standings.

The Portland Timbers take on Austin FC Sunday. They’re one of the teams ahead of Portland in the MLS western conference. Match starts at 5:30 pm from Austin.
