Ducks QB Bo Nix interviewed on ESPN Sportscenter said he expects the sell-out crowd will mean a rowdy Autzen stadium…It should also mean an impressive atmosphere for several recruits making their official visit to Eugene.

The Seattle Mariners beat Oakland yesterday 6 to 3 to get the series sweep. The Ms stay in the 2nd place tie with the Rangers in the West, a half game behind Houston. And now the Mariners face Texas for a series starting tomorrow.
The Giants lost 7 to 1 to Arizona yesterday. San Francisco is 3 games out of the NL wild card. The road trip travels to LA to start a 4 game series with the Dodgers beginning tonight at 7:10.

The Portland Timbers held off San Jose 2 to 1 last night. The win puts Portland into 8th in the West. 1 game behind the Earthquakes in the loss column.
